Deliveries: a package tracker App Reviews

For a $5 app, I expect you to have updated this app for the 3D Touch function on iPhone 6S. Oh and how about fixing all the bugs in your app. Lazy developer, avoid.

This app no longer sends notifications. It doesnt update in the background. You have to open the app to get status of your delivery. Might as well just use the courier web site directly. I followed the suggested troubleshooting steps at the developers site. Didnt fix the issue so I emailed them. Weeks later still no response. Did they stop push notifications because theyre planning a new version that charges a monthly fee for that service?? Too bad. This was once a good app.

I find it almost perfect. However, it is very annoying to have to open the app every few days to keep the background updates going.

It would be a great app if it actually had a decent amount of carries on it. Its miss Asendia USA and so many others!

It is a very useful app to know when deliveries arrived and to keep track of all your inbound deliveries. However, in Canada the accuracy and details of the location, where the package currently is, is pretty bad (75% of the time it points in the middle of Canada in the territories). They should improve the accuracy of the location of packages when the deliveries go across into Canada :)

Background refresh is not working meaning I have to manually go into the app and check on deliveries. Kind of defeats the purpose of the app.

Shop online? Expecting that care package from grandma? I think Deliveries is a must-have app. Tracking in Canada works great - have never had any issues!

I rarely write app reviews but thought Id do it to encourage the developer. I used the free dashboard widget from Junecloud for years on my Mac, and always missed the capability to track my shipments on my iPhone as efficiently as I could on my desktop. I love the iCloud sync!

While this app features a nice UI and a nice way to grab tracking numbers, it doesnt support push notifications which means if the app is closed, you will not get any package notification. Even the new iOS9 widget will not work. You have to keep the app open all the time in the background, and even with this, it sometimes stops (you need to reopen it again). This turns the app useless, compared to other package tracking apps that support push notifications by default!

Been a user of Deliveries since its origins as a Dashboard Widget. Wouldnt want to order online without this app. Works great and looks great.

Ive been using this for several years, yet today I learned that when manually adding a delivery, if I poke the > beside Other, theres a huge list of other delivery options. I have no idea how long thats been there as Im pretty lazy when it cones to apps--if it continues to work after an upgrade I just keep doing the same actions as I was doing before the upgrade. Anyway, so I added amazon.ca from the Other option, added my new (less than 5 minute) Order No, and wowee zowee! Very impressed. Regarding USPS tracking into Canada -- I create two entries using the same tracking number, one showing USPS, the other Canada Post. As the package clears Customs, the Canada Post entry starts updating.

Ive used this app on my Mac, iPad, iPhone and Apple Watch and couldnt be happier with it. App makers like these guys deserve to make money. Buy it!

I like pasteboard check that automatically add the tracking number and suggest the related shipper company. Just add the description if you wish and voila. Daniel

Its unfortunate that not enough development has gone into this app. The concept is great, but the implementation is horrible. Because of the fact that it wants you to have the app constantly running in the background in order to refresh the status (seems to not be taking advantage of Background App Refresh at all), I have delivery notifications delayed by several days, which completely defeats the purpose of the app. The User Interface is very sleek and I think this app has potential, but the back end needs to be redesigned. Dont constantly ask me to open the app to refresh!!!

Its really nice to have this app track my packages. It would be nice it Apple would cooperate with this app and allow a little proactivity, where it wouldnt automatically detect and add packages youve ordered and obtained a tracking number via email.
