Deliveries: a package tracker App Reviews

Paid $4.99 for This?

Way overpriced for what it does. Notifications are lacking. I gave it two stars because it does keep deliveries in one spot. You can do the same thing by bookmarking your browser.

I used to love this app...

Not long ago, I loved this app. But now the notifications do not work whatsoever. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but it still does not work. The app will not tell me when packages arrive, and I hate having packages on my porch all day long. It looks as though some other people have the same issue, but we seem to be the minority. Hopefully they can figure this out. It is quite unfortunate.

Works

Tracks shipments, syncs between devices, lets me keep an archive of past shipments. Everything Id want. I just wish the share extension would pull the carrier tracking info from Amazon, instead of tracking through Amazon.

Why must I constantly open the app to update?

I really like Deliveries, I do. But there seem to be more annoyances recently than usual.

Love it but...

I have 300 apps on my phone. This is one of two that absolutely will not receive push notifications unless you purposefully leave the app running in the background. If every single other app I have can get push notifications without running...then why cant this one?

Good app. Worth it but...

Its a fine app. UI is great, minimal. It recognizes any domestic tracking number in your clipboard. My only gripe is that its pointless to have a widget in Notification Center if it doesnt update automatically. It only updates if I open the app manually. Id really like a working widget.

Waste of money

I heard all the hype about this app and was somehow intrigued by the idea of having a cool way to track all my packages, but this app is really useless. It practically NEVER notifies me, except for an occasional message about "keeping the app open to resume background updates". Amazons app is able to tell me within a few hours whether something was delivered, and the tracking sites for UPS, etc still seem to be the only sites that can tell me about a delay, let me know my box is in some city in transit, etc. This app does none of that, and only VERY rarely will tell me super LATE that something was delivered. If other reviews are true, this app may have USED to work and now its broken.

Broken?

I really enjoyed and depended on this app, but it has stopped working for me. It isnt listing the deliveries I forward to junecloud, it wont let me archive the last completed delivery -- it seems to have given up. Its a pity since it was terrific while it worked.

Doesnt send notifications

Am surprised this is rated so highly. Im going back to Delivered! for now.

Useless

Must open daily to get background updates. Doesnt update anyway, until you manually refresh it.

Good app but could be better

I wish we could track China post items but we have to manually track it on the official website by ourselves. Also, notifications are useless. I dont even get any notifications. I wish we could get notifications about updates if there are any, on our items. I also wish it auto updates on the Notification Center. If there was an update that allowed us to track China post and get updates on our items without going into the app, I would rate this 5 stars.

My absolute favorite package tracking app

I love to track things Ive ordered online, and this one works perfect. It auto detects tracking numbers if youve copied them, you can forward emails to the server for auto-adding, and the app shows a map of the items location on its journey. Its awesome.

Rats...

Stopped syncing. Sigh

Absolutely worthless

Absolutely no notifications until my package is delivered, and by then the notifications are WAY late. I get much better tracking through free apps like My Package. This app is worthless.

Poor performance

I tried 3 times to get this app to track a package. I copied and pasted the tracking numbers from the emails and this app always said there was some error... More effort than tracking packages otherwise.

Widget doesnt update

Notification Center Widget wont update until you open the app. This has been a problem for about a year.

Deleted

Ive used this app for many years. Within the last year or so, the notifications have been horrible. I never get updates unless Im opening the app manually. Since Ive been buying a lot of things on Amazon, I get notifications right from the Amazon app. This app fails to notify me. Today, I received a package at my door at 5:35pm. Amazon app notified me 2 minutes later. Its 12:13am and Deliveries JUST notified me. If the app doesnt notify you of your shipments, what is the point of it? Deleting and finding something else.

#1 for a reason

I put off buying this app for a long time because $5 seemed steep when there are free alternatives, but I finally gave in today. Im glad I did. Of five different package trackers Ive tested for iOS, this is the only one that was able to handle carrier detection and mapping, both quickly and reliably. Its also the only one that recognized my FedEx package as valid for some reason... Theyre a pretty big carrier, youd think theyd be better supported. Not only does it actually work, it has the nicest UI compared to anything similar on the App Store. Only drawback I can see is the cost. Id have bought it a lot sooner if it were cheaper or if a trial version were available, but I suppose the quality and convenience are worth $5.

Great but not.

Loved the UI. But I never received push notifications and my deliveries would often not update until after manually refreshing within the app. This was with background app refresh and push notifications were on for the app. Disappointed in the app. Back to using ParcelTracker.

Best in class ...

I see a few complaints here in the reviews, but Ive used a number of package tracking apps and this one is still the best. It would nice if notifications worked properly, which is why Im holding back one star. But the developers have the right idea. Keep up the good work!
